＜行き方＞
船が基本

竹芝桟橋から
高速ジェット船：約1時間45分
大型客船：約6〜8時間（夜行あり）

天候に左右されやすく、
特にジェット船は欠航しやすいので、
余裕のある日程がおすすめ

飛行機もあり：約25分
調布飛行場から直行便あり
（1日2～3往復　曜日・月によって変動）

＜島内の移動手段＞
島内移動はレンタカーが一番便利
バスは本数が少なめです
観光スポットが点在しているため、初めてなら車が楽

<Transportation on the Island>
Renting a car is the most convenient way to get around the island.
Buses are infrequent.
Since tourist spots are scattered, a car is easier for first-time visitors.

・ベストシーズン
春（3〜5月）：椿・新緑・登山向き
秋（9〜11月）：気候が安定、観光しやすい
夏：海は最高だが、台風リスクあり
冬：星空と温泉は◎、風が強く寒い日も

服装の注意
・東京より風が強く体感温度が低い
・春秋でも、ウインドブレーカーや薄手の上着必須
・歩く場所が多いのでスニーカー必須

* Stronger winds and lower perceived temperature than Tokyo.
Even in spring and autumn, a windbreaker or light jacket is essential.
* Sneakers are a must as there is a lot of walking involved.

・夜は早く店が閉まるので、飲食店等は予約がおすすめ

・現金を多めに
小さなお店や温泉でカード不可あり

・コンビニはなし
必要な物は事前に用意

・天候チェックはこまめに
風速で船が欠航することあり

夏〜秋は虫よけあると安心
